Caribbean Cruise Holidays

Cruise to the idyllic islands of the Caribbean for fantastic beaches, tropical sunshine, great diving and the infectious beats of reggae and calypso.

Barbados has everything you could dream for in a get-away-from-it-all destination on a Caribbean cruise. The Atlantic coast is rugged and perfect for surfing while the sheltered west coast is renowned for its clear, warm waters and wide, golden beaches.

Whatever your tastes, you’ll find an activity to suit: from windsurfing, paragliding, kitesurfing to leisurely tours of outstanding tropical gardens. Or simply enjoying a refreshing cocktail accompanied by a steel band or gospel singers.

Antigua’s sheltered position brought Horatio Nelson to seek anchor here in 1784 and the town of English Harbour is still a centre for the international sailing set. Surrounded by coral reefs and a wealth of powdery sand beaches – Antigua has the driest, sunniest weather in the Eastern Caribbean in which to enjoy them.

Montego Bay, characteristic of the whole of Jamaica, is low-key and relaxed. There’s an emphasis on having a good time whether sampling delicious jerk chicken with a glass of rum, trying your luck at a casino or shopping tax-free on the ‘Hip Strip’.

The charismatic British Virgin Island of Tortola is something of a tourist secret. Its rugged volcanic landscape and spectacular rainforest remain resistant to change and the capital, Road Town, maintains much of its old world charm with colourful markets, historic forts and a rum distillery.

The twin peaks of Les Pitons dominate the striking island of St Lucia, providing dramatic scenery and a chance to experience the Sulphur Springs, the world’s only ‘drive-in volcano’. Dominica’s many crater lakes, waterfalls and forest gorges make for an island of breathtaking natural beauty.

The surrounding waters lie on the migration path for whales and the coral reefs teem with colourful fish and dolphins. Keen divers (snorkel and scuba) will also love the rich waters around Bonaire in the Antilles and Grand Cayman.

The ‘Spice Island’ of Grenada brings an exotic flavour to any Caribbean cruise holiday. This very scenic island grows more spices per square mile than anywhere in the world.

The cruise port of St George is one of the prettiest harbours in the world too: horseshoe-shaped, flanked by two forts and lined by colourful French colonial buildings.

Beyond, the scenery is spectacular: waterfalls spill down the valleys of the rainforest, volcanic craters form natural lakes and perfect beaches seem to stretch out for miles.
